Cookie Factory is hosting the African Creators Festival returns for its fourth edition with Belonging — a special fundraising evening exploring culture, identity, memory and human connection through food and music. Vieux Farka Touré the Hendrix of the Sahara kicks off his North American Tour with this intimate evening of music, food and connection. Concert tickets starting at $45.

Que is a DJ, producer, and sonic enthusiast evoking strong emotions through musical expression. Every session with Que explores a unique journey through vibration and dance that leaves audiences sinking deeper into rhythmic movement and freedom. Que’s passion for aural experimentation exhibits his profound love and appreciation for this craft.
Chef Tousaant McPherson
Chef Tussaint McPherson’s passion for creating palatable dishes ignited when he was a young man. While cooking alongside his father, also an Executive Chef, and using only the freshest ingredients locally grown in his hometown of Negril, Jamaica, Chef Tussaint was introduced to Jamaican cuisine and culinary techniques that inspired his curiosity and fostered his talent to plate aperitive dishes. His path to Private Chef and Caterer began when he studied at Kenilworth Heart Academy, where he graduated with Honors, soon leading him to Sandals Resort, then on to international cuisine with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and finally Chef Supervisor at The Couples Swept Away Resorts. His next move was to the five star, five diamond hotel Broadmoor where he worked for many years in various restaurants. After years in the kitchen, Chef Tussaint McPhersonhas decided to bring his passion for cooking and his unique style to his private kitchen where he is able to create African and Jamaican inspired dishes with a more personal approach.
African Creators Festival
African Creators Festival (ACF) is a Denver-based cultural platform dedicated to celebrating the full vibrancy of African creativity. Through immersive experiences spanning fashion, food, music, and art, ACF creates space for African creators and narratives to be experienced with depth, dignity, and joy.
Founded in 2023 by Koya Nyangi and Akisa Wangari — two African women building bridges across continents — ACF was born from a simple but powerful belief: African creativity deserves a stage that truly understands it.
Koya, based in Denver, brings the vision to life in Colorado, cultivating meaningful cultural exchange through community and experience. Akisa, based in Nairobi, ensures ACF remains deeply connected to the continent it celebrates. Together, they have built something that exists as both festival and movement — rooted in culture, connection, and creative possibility.
Now entering its 4th edition, ACF has evolved from an intimate gathering into one of Denver’s most distinctive cultural experiences, bringing together artists, designers, chefs, musicians, and cultural thinkers from across Africa and the diaspora in one shared space of celebration and discovery.
ACF does not interpret African culture from the outside looking in. It is African-led, not African inspired, and built from within — created by Africans, for everyone.

Through thoughtfully crafted dishes, storytelling, and conversation, guests are invited into a sensory journey celebrating identity, community, and shared ritual. Curated by Let Me Show You Different, this exclusive gathering brings together artists, creatives, and cultural thinkers around the table, before the evening opens into a live concert with legendary Malian artist Vieux Farka Touré.
